This engaging and lively poem is the winning entry in the English Department's poetry competition which was launched during the Open Evening last October. The competition involved writing a poem about a student's first impressions of Flint High School and was open to any prospective student of the school, from any local primary school. Hannah Rundle's entry was deemed to be the best with its excellent rhyme and rhythm and the first prize of a book token was sent to her at Cornist Park School where she is in Year 5.
