Mathematics is the means of looking at the patterns that make up our world and the intricate and beautiful ways in which they are constructed and realised. Numeracy is the means of making that knowledge useful.

"When Wesley came home after visiting the show he said he’d had a really interesting day and told me the variety of things that he’d participated in and his favourite was the ‘Mirror Maize’ which seemed to have been enjoyed by several of his class mates.It’s a good event that was arranged and would hopefully inspire other class members to work hard to possibly be chosen next time if another visit was organised. This maybe a good idea if other trips could be arranged in other subjects.As well as this being an educational day they also had fun and a laugh as well as interacting with each other."
