Library
"Libraries store the energy that fuels the imagination. They open up
windows to the world and inspire us to explore and achieve, and
contribute to improving our quality of life. Libraries change lives for the
better."
Sidney Sheldon
The aim of our library is to provide a welcoming environment in which students are given the space, materials and information skills they need to research, study and learn. We also aim to actively encourage the enjoyment and development of reading for pleasure amongst all members of our school community.
- Flint High School's library was refurbished in May 2008.
- The Library stock comprises a wide range of fiction, both classic and contemporary; non-fiction covering all curriculum areas and of recreation/hobby interest.
- All our computers are on the school network and have internet access.
- The Library is open all day from 8.30 to 3.30
- Tuesdays & Thursdays from 8.20 for Morning Club Members
- The Homework club is open until 4.15 on Thursdays after school.

There may also be a pleasant surprise for some lucky readers ..... but I'm saying no more!
