Rowing the Atlantic

Flint High School was recently visited by fire fighter Louise Edwards.  She talked to year 7 about a fund raising charity event.  Two firemen from Wales- Pontardawe & Swansea are rowing across the Atlantic to raise money for the Fire Fighters Charity.  Year 7 have adopted this charity for the year.  They started fund raising by holding a fancy dress non-uniform day during the week before the Christmas holidays.

She also talked to them about fire safety and they were able to give very good answers to her questions
